I want evolutions for Seviper, Arbok, Gyarados, Stunfisk, Lanturn, Sharpedo, Houndoom, Garbodor, Drapion, Bannette(because they gave DUSCLOPS an evolution), Shuckle(because I want to see how far through the roof its defense stats can go if evolved), Torkoal, Skarmory, and Druddigon!
Well, I'm very critical about it... Normally, I'll always took the water starter first, but, to be honest, we've got some frogs before it, so not very creative... I just hope it doesn't envolved too wierd (strange looking or really bad type combination), otherwise I will check the other two ones...
Well we already got foxes before the fire starter and snakes before snivy. We've also got thousands of birds, furred, and bugs that copy each other left and right. Also there was only Politoed. The other one in 5th gen was an actual toad and Toxicroak looked incredibly different. I don't get why you're going on the water starter for that.
I wish they can expand the eevee evolution line. I mean 7 is good until Pokemon dpp and HGSS. When Pokemon black and white was introduced, my impression was that there'll be a few new eeveelution but it's still 7. Same goes to the version 2 of Pokemon BW, I thought there'll be new eeveelution since I thought when there's no new eeveelution on previous game, this is going to be it (which is BW 2) but… it's still 7! The Pokemon company could have surf the net to places like this where fakemon are made and eevelution are alot here in DA.
I kinda wonder, is this the real name of the new Pokemon game for 3DS? it's a bit lame though eventhough I'm a fan of the game and it better be in the 3DS. When Pokemon BW 2 was out, I was hyped with the thought that it'll be in the 3DS instead it went for the DS. Man that really made me surprised of that sudden event
im really looking forward to the games! (even though i dont have a 3ds yet!!!) i like the new starters so far. i disagree with evolving first gen pokemon, i absolutely hate what they did to magneton, magmar, rhydon and others by giving them absolutely awful evolutions. i dont want them to destroy anymore pokemon. gen 4 was the worst for me! ^^ and i dont like all the new "baby legendaries" or "mew equivalents" such as celebi, azelf, azure, manaphy etc. completely agree with you on the basculin thing though, all the fishers have them!! lol
How about gene-swapping? Some or all Pokemon chould have the potential to have their DNA messed with at a particular lab (splicing it with Eevee perhaps), producing alternative specimens of a different type, with new powers. Perhaps you only get to do it once, so you have to choose which one. For example, this would be how you get Deluzard, a water-type Charizard. This means you would end up with a single, ultra-rare Pokemon effectively unique to you. And possibly a furious one, too, for taking such obscene liberties with its genetic structure.
Sounds kinda like Armor Digimon in the sense that different Digieggs mixed with different Rookie Digimon resulted in different Armor Digimon.
That would be a bit much for Pokemon though. I'm not fond of a single Pokemon being able to change forms (I don't mind Pokemon available in different forms, just having 5 Rotom, 4 Deoxys, 17 Arceus, 3 Kyurem, etc. is a bit much).
It's not changing form, it's turning it into an entirely new species. Hidden species, basically, based on the precursor species, but of a new type or element. If you could only do it once then you could only acquire a single re-engineered specimen (which probably couldn't breed true or be traded, either) making the event a more varied and exclusive variant on the traditional fossil choice. Do you want the water/flying version of your Charizard, Deluzard? The bug/electric version of your Growlith, Barktric? Ghost Hitmonlee, Brusoul? Or the dark/dragon Gyrados, Arashidos?
Is there anything revolutionary about it? 3D is nice but that isn't too revolutionary at all for the franchise at all. As it stands now it is the same game with a new skin...IN 3D! It is also taking the concept of splitting up into 2-3 games so in technical terms you are buying only a part of the game, not the whole...no wonder where Capcom got that idea of On-disc DLC. But hey if it does do something revolutionary for the series like idk...LETTING ME CHOOSE MY OWN DAMN PATH, I will consider this a good fortune.

Haha, most 16 year old boys do pretty much look like kids irl too though.. xD Yeah, I don't think any of the previous girls looked like there were supposed to be 12. They all looked like they were around 14-18, because boobs and miniskirts..
But I don't really care about the age of the main character. I care more that some of their outfits or hair sucks and I want to change it into something better. xD
I think there were some weird release pacing issues because of the longevity of the Nintendo DS, and in North America we haven't seen a such a small gap between generation releases since Gen1 to Gen2 (whereas in Japan, every generation lasted 4 years, except Gen2 which was 3).
I didn't, either. I figured there would be a new generation of Pokémon for the 3DS eventually, but I didn't think it would come THIS early. I actually estimated that the Pokémon generations go through a rough 4-year cycle, so I was expecting a new generation to appear next year at the earliest (or the year after).
I was really disappointed that there were no new evolutions of old pokemon in Black/White. New things to do with old favourites was strangely one of the features of older games that I really enjoyed! I was hoping for new Eevee-lutions at least...
Myself I'd mostly like to see Absol and Tropius evolutions. Maybe also Chatot, Heracross and Pachirisu. Shuckle could probably stand an evolution too.
I'd rather see any of those than lots of new pokemon that just seem to be new versions of old pokemon, which a bunch of stuff in Gen5 seemed like...
That would have made sense. Also I felt Alomomola should have been a Luvdisc evolution and Bouffalant should have been a Tauros evolution. Frankly I suspect they were all intended as such before some moron strolled along and said 'hey guys we just decided all new pokemon in Gen5 - you guys were working on pokemon evolutions? They all new pokemon now...'
I could probably think of several more examples besides if I hadn't been drinking heavily...
Personally liked it better with just new pokémon around. I love discovering new animals in real life, so pokémon is a good thing to have around winter. I like discovering new facts about animals I already know about too, but the pokédex facts are a bit... lacking.
Also, I didn't like that many of the new evolutions of old pokémon from gen 4. Most of them looked like fat bricks.
Absol needs an evolved form and a baby form. Let's get this guy to be a competitive sweeper for once.
Stantler needs a baby form and a female form.*
Sawsbuck needs a female form (but not Deerling.)*
Farfetch'd and Chatot evolved forms (yes, completely agree wtih this. That or let them show up earlier in the game and be reasonable in catching.)
Girafarig needs work (or again, show up earlier or something.)
*Both of them are deer Pokemon and the female Pokemon have antlers, which is annoying when you know what they are based off of don't do that. All stats and moves can be the same, just no antlers.
Though my biggest deal among of the games is in terms of what they plan on adding to both the storyline and main game purposes (they are doing full 3D now, I hope they have a few things up their sleeves) as well as to the competitive field (this is currently 100% unknown to me till moves start coming out.)
