360. I prefer the interface and the exclusive games available on it. I also prefer the Xbox's controller over any other especially a mouse and keyboard. I know the graphics on a PS3 or PC game is usually going to be better, but better graphics does not make a game any better for me as long as I know what I'm looking at.

PC all the way baby. If I had to choose a console I'd probably choose the PS2 because that has some actually interesting and good designed games on it. Shadow of the Colossus, Killer 7, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Silent Hill 2. Yeah, those games I miss on my PC
But the new consoles? blarg...

Why does one have to be good and the other evil? :/

I'm more of a Playstationer myself, though.

Ps2 all the way. New consoles are stupid. I still play DOOM on my N64. That's real fun.

I prefer PS2 so I can play DVDs as well as PS and PS2 games.
I also have a Wii. I used to have a WiiSlim, but downgraded it when I found out it couldn't play Gamecube games.

So, all in all, I have my PS2, my Wii, a 3DS, and my laptop :)

XBox 360. I like the firmness of the controller and the variety of buttons on it. I really like XBox Live and I find it more amusing to play games on that console. :)
I do like the PS2, but mine's not working very well anymore. :(

Everything before the PS3 and Xbox 360 came into life. I own a PS3 and it's the bane of my life and my boyfriend has gone through 3 Xbox 360s in 4 years. However, the DS and the 3DS are pretty good. However, I have owned a lot of consoles and even an Amiga Spectrum and Comodore 64. :dummy:

It's hard to say... Overall, I'm leaning toward PS2, but that may be because it was the console that took the largest part in my childhood. I haven't actually played a PS2 game in a while. Might be nostalgia, but I used to have a large (for me, anyway) library of PS2 games that I played quite a bit. Currently, my favorite gaming platform is the PC. I'm sure that will change when all the hardware gets outdated in a couple of years. :( But, it's nice to not have to move if I get bored with playing a game and want to browse the Web.

PS3 better than Xbox-360
Epic exclusives, no pay for online, no battery replace for controller and many more things that make PS3 better than Xbox-360
But PC is also epic

So in my opinion
PS3+PC = Perfect gaming

Otherwise, xbox 360. My PS3 YLOD'ed and I never got around to sending it in for repairs

PS3 There are some great co-op games that I can play with my real friends. PS2 is second, spent a lot of nights sharing a controller in tekken 5.

I thought they could all run PS1 games. I could be wrong though.

From what I've heard, mine is probably due to break down sometime soon. The original ones aren't supposed to be very reliable.

It depends on what particular model it is, like if it's been slimmed down or not. Same as Nintendo consoles. ...as far as I know, anyway. I don't know much about how Sony products operate even if I have a PS2 Slim myself

If I could afford a gaming pc that would be #1. Though I prefer a 360 controller. I used to game on a ps3(ex-boyfriend's) but it busted when he moved it once, seems pretty cheap to me for what it cost plus I like the 360 controller more. So though I'm all for the ps2, my preferences are pc, xbox, ps3.

PC followed by 360
Because both get the best shooters like DoDonPachi and Thunder Cross. PS2 follows behind for the same reason.

Nowadays I have an Xbox 360 and I love that too.
I would like a PS3 to add to my collection, but I have no money or room for it at my place. Sooo I'll keep dreamin'.

i used to have a NES and Vectrex BUT due to my stupidity as a kid they broke.
I like today's games, but at heart i'll always be in that one retro gamer who will 50 years from now still be bitching about how the old days were better (i'm try to stop someone hit my head with a hammer)

...what is with all these threads about console preferences? I swear, it's like we've got sleeper agents ready to reignite the console debates...

And I use PS3, Wii, PC. I'd only get a 360 to play Halo, nothing else, so it remains off my radar.

I was trying to be polite. I made my case before answering. And to try to not cause the problem I fear this will undoubtedly cause at some point -- I didn't try to say my choices were superior, just that Halo is the only benefit I'd gain from a 360, at least in respect to myself.

Not counting the Nintendo Wii (since I happen to be a fan of Nintendo's game systems, BTW), I would have to say the Xbox 360 because I've never been into Sony's game systems at all.
