Minecraft map
So I was playing minecraft when suddenly my player location thingy disappears. You know, that gray box that shows which direction you're facing and where you are. I'm now lost.
I've tried asking my brother, who says he's a "pro" and I've also tried googling it. None helped.
Help? xD

Did you walk off the map?
As I understand it you lose it when you die. You could make a new one or try to find your dropped supplies.
I didn't die though xD I have the map it just doesn't show where I am on it.
Oh, then it's in the settings (options?) somewhere.
