Tv. There are a few shows that I enjoy.

I can't find anything good on TV. I say games.

Well, they're both equally devoid of diversity and production values. Sure there are a few rare exceptions, but both industries are driven by the idea of getting more for less effort.

In both cases, the industries put out a better ratio of quality/crap during the 80's and 90's. So I prefer my old NES/SNES/GENESIS/SATURN and a DVD Player

If i had the time to play more games and work at the same time i would pick games but i can work while watching tv so tv, but i can put anime on. In my spare time i play games like tekken and FF XIII-2.

Which one of these led to you so horribly abusing Caps Lock? Because I'm going with the opposite of whatever you say.

I choose the Internet; it has both

...After seeing the brutal, savage act you have performed against the English language, I think I'll go with books.

Now where did I leave that copy of American Gods?

Right next to Neverwhere, silly.

Funny you should say that, my copies of both books actually are together!

They serve as a booster seat for my speakers so my headphone jack can connect to the back of my computer tower, heh.
FIRSTxAIDxKIT's avatar
Hahaha nice. Hopefully you did read them though :P

Oh, damn yes!

I love Neil Gaiman!

:highfive: He's an amazing writer. Sandman takes the cake for me ;)

How can you compare these things? They are different.
But, I guessTV these days are so minimalist that shows like true blood and the walking dead are considered unique gems that I think games might mostly succeed it. But I like them both!
DacComics's avatar
They are different but there both entertainment and gaming will probably win becaue of lease ads and you get more of your money. Tv costs alot of money and is covered in ads.
Redfoxbennington's avatar
Yeah, but there is product placement.
Blasian89's avatar
Which I don't mind as long as it's not intrusive (like pausing the game and forcing you to wait 30 secs or some bullshit like that lol)

that's when I stop playing video games as a whole lol
Redfoxbennington's avatar
Me either, hey what do you say we leave this thread and get some cran brule.
DukeDragoon's avatar
Hah! You actually think there are no ads in games. In the future of digital gaming adverts will plaster your gaming hub of choice.
T.V just like books and cinema will always exist, just in another form.
DacComics's avatar
I said there are lease ads.
