Skyrim Dragonborn Trailer

:iconslutgirl08:

Trailer: [link]

I have to say, I'm fucking excited. The pack looks like it'll be better than Dawnguard (Dawnguard was good but not as Shivering Isles) and I might get this one, now analyzing a bit from the trailer, here's what I've come up with:
-You may have to revisit the Labyrithinian. The place to get Morokei.
-Some old man talking, will start you on quest.
-You will go to Morrowind.
-You may go to Herma's realm (there could also be extra dialogue added in Herma Mora's quest).
-Dragon riding, OMG!
-You will fight against Goblins (they were shown in the game jam video)
-The other Dragonborn mentioned may be the villain you face.

Opinions?

Actually, you'll be going to Solstheim. An island that's somewhere between Skyrim & Morrowind, as Morrowind was devastated by the Red Mountain and refugees made their settlements there. Funny thing is that Solstheim appeared in the Morrowind expansion 'Bloodmoon'. Yeah I'm excited for it as well. It is also possible you will get to wield spears again. Wish they could bring back Levitation as it's pretty fun flying up to out of reach places.

DAMN IT BETHESDA! Y U MAKE SO MUCH CONTENT?! I'M STILL TRYING TO GET THROUGH THE VANILLA GAME! :XD:

I'm one of those guys who likes to explore every possible avenue of an RPG, thus is prone to make multiple characters of multiple skills. To that end, I haven't actually finished the Skyrim questline. Oblivion was the same way.

Seriously, these games will be the death of me. :dummy:

As to the trailer, it's kind of nice to see dragon riding in the game, but being a PC user I've seen a lot of mods out there that do similar things to what the expansions have done, so really the only intriguing thing is this conflict with the first Dragonborn.

My only request for modders, if this DLC has a final boss fight, replace the fight music with Queen. The reason being...

THAR CAN BE OOOOONLY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'll be interesting to potentially learn more about the Dragon Cult, the main game didn't really provide enough details about them to satisfy me. It'll also be fairly interesting to learn more about this other Dovhakiin. He looks... Intimidating. Also, I hadn't really thought about it myself but now you mention Hermaeus Mora having a bigger role... :paranoid: I suppose that'd explain the abundance of tentacle-y things in the trailer.

I don't see the point of DLC for games like Skyrim. There's already the mod community.

Meh, Skyrim is nothing but over hyped mediocrity. I liked that game better when it was called Fallout 3.

Fallout 2, Morrowind, Deus Ex, Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, The Witcher 2, Earthbound, Phantasy Star IV, and Tales of the Abyss.
Skyrim is okay, but the removal of classes, the lame combat system, the Final Fantasy XIII-linear dungeons and numerous bugs and glitches make it a mediocre game IMO. I respect your opinion.

...people used classes in Elder Scrolls?

Chrono Tigger was great, EarthBound was blah, couldn't get into Phantasy Star IV and never played the rest.

Did you know if you had a PC, you could get mods to add in classes, make the combat system better, have better dungeons and fix the bugs?

Yes, I know mods make Skyrim better, but I'm too poor to have a gaming PC. At least I didn't buy the horribly broken PS3 version though.

Yeah, the PS3 version is horrible, I'm glad I don't own a PS3.

Nobody will go on Morrowind. The DLC will take place in Solstheim. Many Dunmers went on this island after the Red Year. That's the reason why we can see Dumer's buildings. I don't know for Herma's realm, I only know we'll have to face the first Dragonborn. I don't care about Xbox exclusivity. All I want is a DLC working on my PC. I hope it will be as good as Shivering Isles...CHEESE FOR EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!

I love Skyrim, I really do but I hate Bethesda for even thinking they should release the DLCs on the other consoles until they fixed the PS3's issues. If one doesn't get them, none should until the issues are fixed. They're basically not going to say anything about the DLCs on the PS3 because they know that it would hurt future sales if they said they couldn't do it.

When I get my gaming laptop, I'm just going to pirate the games since they don't deserve the cash that I have very little off. Only reason I bought a PS3 at the time was because I was living with a friend who had an Xbox 360 and now I'm stuck with a piece of complicated crap.

Not to sound rude or to drive people away but only care if you are on Xbox, PC has mods and the PS3 community knows how lazy of a company Bethesda is.

Except with PC, it seems like half of the decent mods on the Workshop require Dawngaurd for some reason (most not making sense.)

Yeah true, I'm an Xbox player and even if I were a PC player, I'd still buy the DLC because one, they tend to be fun, two, to support companies and three, not all PC gamers use mods.

Fair enough, I for one though will not be supporting a company that is too lazy to actually develop for a system that requires it but will port over a shoddy copy of an already poor programming.

Don't get me wrong I liked Skyrim on my PC but on my PS3...damn Bethesda, if you want my money, actually put the effort into it instead of porting it over and then blame the system for your mistakes.

Really, because I find those games completely unbearable without mods considering Bethesda can't seem to make finished game to save their life.

Lol yeah, and good news, fans have unofficial patches to fix the game itself, Bethesda makes great but glitchy games.
