Steams blocked me!
So my friend gave me his sister's PC version of Skyrim (She played the shit out of it and didn't want it anymore). I'm stoked, but when I go to download it there's problems. Steam basically gets all cranky about me being a secondhand user, and wants a verification code that I'm not able to get because it's far too much work than i'm willing to do for this game. MY QUESTION IS, Does anyone know about this and/or how to sneak past it?

Idiot.
Second hand PC gaming with a 2011 game? Yeah, like that's ever going to work.
Demand that GOG.com puts it on their site, or quit being a pirate.

Pay for it!
Pay for it!
get crack, put steam offline and enjoy her saves.
As =Pakaku has pointed out, please do not promote warez in here.
Are you retarded
only when im playing LoL, the raging of people is fun to see. It's a method to get praises because your own asshole team wont do it.
Most likely.
You're too lazy to wait .5 seconds for an email and copy+paste a code? And you expect to have patience for a fantasy RPG?
It's kinda like what the hell happened here: [link] Too dumb, too cheap, too crazy, and, like you said, too lazy.
"i need to find that chip and put it in my ps3. got it."
Wise words from a wise man

Cheap, not wise. Wise would be "I'll save up on money to get a PS2!"
lololol Some people just have no sense.
Yes, sadly.
So you are trying to log into her account to play Skyrim and Steam Guard kicked in?
I guess so, I haven't used a PC in years so I'm learning this shit
Steam Guard protects an account from unauthorized access. What happens is that a verification code is sent to the e-mail tied to the account; which you need in order to log in. Barely a learning process; ask her for the verification code.
"Sneaking past" in this case is using her account without her permission.

Most intelligent answer I've seen after asking that question, thanks!
You could pay for the game. That's the way around having to get a code from someone.
No Pirate love here
So you're paying for the game problem solved.
