Oh, I wish there was a continuation of the Sonic Adventure series from the beginning of the decade. Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 were so amazing I wish SEGA made a third game for that and still retained all its important features... like the Chao Gardens and maybe the Adventure Fields and such. So much fun
I'd love A jet set radio sequel most and foremost!
I'd also love to see a proper and polished Mirror's Edge sequel with open world elements. A game like Mirror's Edge deserves exploration and needs to reward players for doing so. my dream game would be a mix of Mirror's Edge and Deus Ex Human Revolution
It actually depresses me when I think of the lost potential of Fable. If I could have one thing, it would be a remake of Fable series the way it should have been. 2 and 3 were wasted, a fantastic vision extinguished by a fool.
I would revive the Snowboard Kids franchise. It's a comical racing game created in the 90's for the N64 that not many people know about. That series had this playful charm I have yet to experience in a long time.
o0 man s0o many id wish for 1) Tribes + Planetside = Epic Win 2) Soul Calibur fighting in an MMORPG 3) A more fluid and skilled Armored core (better melee mechanics) 4) another AVP 5) pokemon mmorpg, NIDOKING FTW!
Okay, not to be a prick, but I have to correct you here...
1.) Capcom does not distribute or develop Shounen Jump Games, Namco-Bandai, CyberConnect2 and Tomy do. It irks me when the bigger companies are blamed for stuff they aren't responsible for.
2.) If you're tapping one button and winning, you need to amp up the difficulty. I know for a fact that DBZ and Naruto games have dodge mechanics that takes complex button sequences to execute fully, and the AI uses it well. One Piece games have midair recovery, if I'm not mistaken.
I know they don't but wishes don't have to be realistic do they? What I mean is that for example in nearly all of the Naruto games pretty much all attack (apart from shuriken or specials) are performed with the O button or B depending on PS or Xbox.
I agree with you that they're not as simple as I described but most of my friends just don't seem to get how these games work I was sloppy with my first post but typing on the phone is really frustrating with big manthumbs..
I'd just think it'd be really cool to have a high paced 2d fighting game with big juggles (I'm thinking Marvel vs Capcom pace). Or even Tekken style. But since Namco is already involved I mentioned Capcom.
I don't have any experience with OP fighters but since the latest ps3 OP doesn't have a versus mode.
I agree. They should go back to the Tekken-ish formula of Clash of Ninja, Budokai, and Grand Battle. They all were similar, had a range of buttons to execute moves, and juggle combos, the hardest of which ended up in special finishers.
All of that was on the GameCube. Is it really that hard for the gaming industry, or at least Shounene Jump games to go back to its fast-paced, 2-D roots? There's much more to do with it nowadays.
Baten Kaitos 3. I heard rumours about it but it never happened. More FF XII-related games, in other parts of the world of Ivalice (why the fuck Rozarria is barely just mentioned and in Revenant Wings they decided to just create a new continent? If it is the biggest empire enemy, it should have its own game. I would love to know what's that empire like, what they fight for. Ivalice needs more love) Mentioned below, a Tales of Symphonia prequel. Preferably during the war 4000 years ago.
And, an Eternal Darkness:Sanity's Requiem sequel! I heard it might happen for Wii U. I hope so, I've been waiting for that forso many years. I'd buy a Wii U just to play ED2.
Screw one wish, I wish for more wishes! Let's see now...
I wish for a Mother/ Earthbound 1, 2, & 3 Compilation. A true sequel to Alundra that actually has something to do with the original game. A modernized port of Star Fox 2. That Crash Bandicoot & Spyro The Dragon would be returned to their original creators. A remake of LOZ ALTTP with full HD 2D graphics. That Sega would put poor Sonic out of his misery. An end to random battles in RPGs. And finally, I wish Squeenix would revive the Chrono series.
I have one very near and dear to my heart: for Naughty Dog to go to Activision, kick their ass, and get Crash Bandicoot back so they could, oh I dunno, reboot or at least revive the motherfucker. It's like every time ND makes a brand spanking new franchise, they have to give away to someone else only to fuck it up even more. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave away The Last of Us after the thrid or fourth one.
Okay enought ranting, my second one is for Suda51 to make No More Heroes 3, which I'm pretty sure he is.
My third is for EA to stop being such moneyhogs/douchebags/parasites/all of the above
The cast of Crash Bandicoot should get their old designs & personalities back (with Crunch having his Wrath of Cortex appearance & Nina having her Twinsanity look) and have gameplay similar to the first 5, Wrath of Cortex, and Twinsanity. Even better- it would have a cool, sci-fi centered story.
