And I loved it! I will be honest I rolled my eyes at the idea that I have to get a 3ds for a game but I thought hey it'll be a good investment since I enjoy games and it'll expand what I can do. What's more is I also prepped myself by playing The World Ends With You, a seriously underappreciated game that really added to playing the Kingdom Hearts game. So what did you dis/like about the game?
I loved the music as always and playing in Traverse Town and Country of Musketeers. I didn't really like that my battery kept dying when i spent hours playing it but I think that was mainly my ds. Also the plot twists and how it added to the complexity of the series (something i adore about Kingdom Hearts) were a huge plus for me
I'll admit. I hated every other Kingdom Hearts in the series, but this one was really damn good. Nice and fast. It actually wasn't clunky or floaty as fuck, I could skip cutscenes, and it actually didn't feel like the world's first ever on rails RPG series like every other installment I've played. There was some nice ways to break up the linearity of the previous games. Camera was odd, but that's Nintendo's fault for making a shitily designed system so Square Enix had to work around it. It works, but it's murder on the fingers. The whole switching thing is also a bit stupid, but overall, I really liked the game.
I lied, BBS was also one I liked, but it's...slow compared to this.
hahah I agree on both parts. Its a bit surprising because i though Dream Drop Distance was just a prequel to KHIII but I was wrong it was really good and really set the events in motion. story wise overall and in each world I really enjoyed. Especially Prankster Paradise. Its like going through Monstro from Riku's PoV
No, you're fine. I don't care about story in games. I skipped every cutscene in this one anyway. I've beaten it just this morning actually. Fun game even if the last boss was unnecessarily cheap.
The game so far's been pretty good. I am at the point where (I think) I should be fighting the final boss, but I want to level-up a bit more. The ability maps are a hassle though, and trying to unlock all the power ups makes the game quite tedious, not to mention having to hunt down dream pieces and buying the recipes =[
