But I always found it fun to build a pool, make everyone in the family drown, put their grave markers on the land, and then have their ghosts haunt the next family I moved in.

The Sims 2 is is a strategic life simulation computer game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts (Or as well-known EA Games).
In that sequel of the sims the sims grow up from babies to elder. In that order: Baby, Toddler, Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult and Elder.
Also your sims will have a personality and an aspiration, that are five basic kinds of it: Family, Fortune, Knowledge, Popularity and Romance. Later, with other expansions, there are the Pleasure one, a hidden aspiration called Grilled Cheese and Lifetime aspiration.
