Yes I played it.. way back when I was a sophomore in high school. I got hooked on it pretty fast.. but also quit it really fast. My thoughts (please don't be too offended) on the game: It's horrible... the gameplay is slow, the general style of play, the way one can create a character is lacking, there are just AWFUL graphics.. and for a free game... it... just.. not good.
My recommendations? Play another game.. I suggest Lineage II:Chaotic Chronical throne 1... there are many free servers (www.l2retail.com <-- my server.. I'm a GM named Cookie) and it is a lovely, easy to play game that is really fun and great for experienced and new gamers. The official site is [link] ... but that is if you want to spend money on official. Personally, I do NOT recommend this... as some people can pay off the GMs to give them items and skills etc... allow them to cheat by donating. Anyways.. though runescape is a good game for some.. there are so many other games that have more or less the same ideas.. but just look and play better.
