Well, that's actually the title. Crap, ain't it? Here's a link to this killing of a once good franchise...
[link]
I am so angry. There are so many bad things about it! I mean, who ever thought they'd disgrace Mumbo by putting overalls on him? Why, Rare, why? He was cool wearing his little straw dress...
Gameplay? LittleBigPlanet-style customisation. I'm not a Sony boy(I actually hate THAT game as well!), but I think it's too much like that game, in terms of the whole "Customize your friggin' machine to help you get past this driving bit!"
This brings me to another point: Mashines? Cince when has banjo needed a friggin' PLANE to get up in the air? What happened to those launch pads that used Kazooie's feathers? Why would he need to go in a car to collect coconuts? Is there something WRONG with me for hating this idea??? EEEAAARRRRGH!!!
Lastly, but not leastly, there's the characters to contend with. What were wrong with the last models? I thought they'd look good in super HD, but apparently, no. Now, they're all boxy and crap! Grunty looks like a space alien, for GODS SAKES!!! And her new sidekick. What's it gunna be, Rare? It'll probably be a ugly, generic evil bunny who wears a shirt that says "HALOZ ROX LOL" on it, whose name is Sidekick Simon.

This is just my oppinion on Rare's new mangling, so, y'know, get over it. I'm just sad to see another series go down the gutter, is all...

The real question is, what do you do when a Metroid gets a hold of your crotch [link]

Microsoft bought Rare, then all the people that made Rare what it was jumped ship. Hence, the general crapiness of their games.

Shame really, they were a top-of-the-line developer a couple of generations back. :(

I swear this is like the movie Anti Trust. Microsoft are so stealing my ideas.

I know... It's sad to think that a developer who once made games oozing with fun and good old gameplay awesomeness, had to resort to some crap car customization crap...

Well, the compensation to Rare being shit now is the Timesplitters series.

not quite... nintendo and rares contract was coming to an end... lots of rare team members left due to the contract ending and wanting a change etc, so nintendo decided to let rare go as most of the talent had left and not re-new the contract etc....

so then the new rare made conker live and reloaded and starfox adentures (last game for nintendo) on xbox/gc etc and they sucked... and for some reason microsoft decided to buy them then?

only a few members of the goldeneye team are at free radical tho :( not all of the "good" rare team

They are butt-sauce on the steak that is game companies.
I'm really sad by this. I know you diddn't like the series that much, but, in all honesty, this third one's going to be the WORST. I don't care about the pretty graphics, the customization, the exellently handeled vehchles, I want the good old Banjo-Kazooie gameplay back!!!
Banjo-Kazooie was totally a Mario 64 clone, when you think about it, isn't it?

Ah, good old Free Radical. Hope Haze is good...

Played the demo, its not exactly great. Seems theres a lack of passion for the project from the development team.
