The Metal Gear Solid series has to have one of the most complex, intricate, convoluted, and intriguing stories out of any game. Ever.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty has a very deep storyline. So does the Max Payne series.

I think the answer to that question is more a matter of opinion. What one person finds moving another could find lame. I'd agree though that Silent Hill 2 was pretty awesome when it comes to the storyline. But for me Vagrant Story is the best.

Max payne did have a cool story line. But I couldn't get too involved with the characters on a personal level. I think thats were that game is flawed

Metal gear has the most Convoluted story ever is right. i really can't keep up with whats going on because of it. I can't really get to attched with the chracters because there is always something else that throws you off of the story line. You have to worry about something else in the plot and totally forget about what just happened. One of my favorite games, but I can't get to envolved with the story

I don't really care if an animal dies in a game. I'm actually trying to kill as many animals as i can in any game

I totally agree with ya; far and beyond the simple tales of many a video game, the Metal Gear Solid series has the most intriguing story out there. Hell, I'd watch YouTube videos of all the cutscenes again if I could; they're THAT good.
