have you tried kamisama hajimemashita & natsume yuujinchou? both are shoujo mangas, but not your average lovey dovey sappy stuff, they are pretty good stories with ghosts & demons & deities & supernatural stuff.

Read JoJo's Bizarre Adventure if you don't mind a manly brand of romance

Ao no exorcist - This is pretty much all of the above for you.
Byousoku 5 centimeter - Completely romance and will jerk ALL your feelings. troofs by catluvr2
Gurren Lagann - This is orgasmic action, there's romance and comedy here too.
Midori no Hibi - This one's pretty cute (and also old 2002-2004). Lighthearted romance with a little bit of drama thrown in.

For Manga, you can try kuroshitsuji, kyou koi wo hajimemasu (today we start our love. It's romance, ofcourse.), bokura ga ita (friggin adorable but may not be your style), tokyo ghoul, and lol there's so much more.
For Manhwa, there's noblesse (awesome), orange marmalade, duty after school, and so so much more just go to webtoons.com and you'll find all the good (and official) one's there.

I never really a difference with Manhwa and Manga. Manhwa just looks like a different style of Manga to me.

As for my suggestion, try Fullmetal Alchemist.
Mahou tsukai no yome - Genre: fantasy, romance, supernatural

Hatori Chise is only 16, but she has lost far more than most. With neither family nor hope, it seems all doors are closed to her. But, a chance encounter began to turn the rusted wheels of fate. In her darkest hour, a mysterious magus appears before Chitose, offering a chance she couldn't turn down. This magus who seems closer to demon than human, will he bring her the light she desperately seeks, or drown her in ever deeper shadows? There's a series called QP that's pretty good, and it has been finished as well.
As far as ongoing stuff, I would suggest One-Punch Man, Hajime No Ippo, and Grappler Baki.
As far as classics go, the best I can suggest is Devilman

'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind' is awesome. Can't go wrong with Hayao Miyazaki. It's a post-apocalyptic/sci-fi/adventure story.

'Fruits Basket' is one of my personal favorites, too. 'Rurouni Kenshin' and 'Tegami Bachi' are also great :)

I have two.
One manhwa that's good is called Moon Boy by Lee young you, a manga I enjoyed was Seiyuu-ka.

Actually, Seiyuu-ka was so good that inspired me to publish Please, Let me Be A Seiyuu!

Chobits is a really good one. It's by CLAMP, so it has great art, its a sweet and very thought provoking story, and there are quite a few funny moments too!

Romance manga..
Horimiya is really good! it's sweet and funny
tragedy: tokyo ghoul is the most tragic manga i've read, but it's SO GOOD D: (does have a lot of gore though, so watch out for that if it's not your thing)

Ohhh Horimiya's adorable!

Oh I don't know about one piece. I started watching the anime as a kid and it was a beautiful thing then - up to the time-skip. I didn't like the new animation they picked up (I mean, Chopper's hat looks like it's hiding a tumour under there :noes:) and the story kind of went linear at that point too. It's still visually a pretty good anime, but the soul, man. The soul! :shakefist:
FenixDePapel's avatar
Ahh yeah, the animation quality has gone down some, and they strech things too much(as in, what happens every episode), but it's so it doesn't catch up with the manga. Chopper looks too cutesy for my liking now too.

But! The manga is still awesome!

Ahhh I've never kept up with the manga. I bought a volume around the time they met Sanji's 'doppelganger' but I was like "I'll watch the anime, it'll be better than this." But anyways, cheers to the manga then. :ahoy:

Oh it's as good as it's long, so really, really good haha.

cheers!
