I like them both the same, and as for superheroes:

Batman is my favourite superhero, but he is the only character I like from DC, Marvel is far better in my opinion.

DC albeit Marvel almost always has better movie adaptions.
Fave DC: Superman, then Batman.
Fave Marvel: X -men Jean Grey and Storm. I only like the Hulk from the Avengers... I only like Spider-Man pre-Disney annihilation.
On that note: the show Agents of Shield sucks.

Marvel does heroes better. DC does villains better.

I'm a Marvel person, but I have liked some pieces by DC.
As for my favourite superhero, I would have to say its Nightcrawler from the X-Men.

Marvel. I don't read any DC comics mostly because I'm not really into the dark brooding thing or the house style, or the way they tend to treat their female audience. I feel unwanted. (Though not every female reader feels like this and it's not always the intention of the company, just how it feels to me) However I am enjoying the Arrow and Flash TV shows, but I feel like they aren't made just for a straight male audience so it doesn't feel like the boys club to watch them.
My favourite Marvel Character at the moment has to be She Hulk, or Hawkeye... either or. I'm enjoying their solo comics a lot.

I like Marvel and DC for different reasons. Namor is probably my favorite superhero overall.
