2010: Odyssey Two by Arthur C. Clarke I'd be a kind of demigod, so that's pretty cool.

Winston Smith (1984 by George Orwell)
Captain John Yossarian (Catch-22 by Joseph Heller)
Harry Potter (series by J.K. Rowling)

Screw that, I'll pass. :stare: Even Harry Potter goes through a lot of bad shit, too.

My favourite book series is The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie.

So I'd probably be dead or heavily insane.

Well I'd suddenly be a man for one thing...and I'd get to travel around the world, facing only occasional dangers. Not too bad :)

Technically I wouldn't exist for half the book (the protagonist doesn't even know his own name). I guess I'd at least have a reasonably happy ending.

Yossarian...awesome until the Texan ruins everything.

Damn, my favourite book is the rulebook for a board game. Does that mean I get to be a game designer?
VaNiLlaBound's avatar
Maybe, or that could make you the arbiter or the referee. xD
Hethalos's avatar
That's still awesome.

Thomas from The Maze Runner. Since it's a dystopian book, I'd constantly be fighting/running for my life or trying to understand everything.

Transmetropolitan.... well shit but fuck yeah at the same time xD

My favorite book is Harry Potter. (all of them cuz I can't choose)...Fuck I'm screwed. But at least I can do magic! :la:

My favorite book is probably The House of Leaves and uh, there isn't really a main character for that. Maybe I'll move into a house that's bigger on the inside with my family and slowly watch things go sideways.
VaNiLlaBound's avatar
Ooh, I've been looking forward to buying that book too. It really looks interesting just by the way it's written.

It is very strange and very good.
