Death Note - A post-Kira world - Discussion

I wish there was a continuation of the Death Note story. An epilogue to show how “Kira” still affects people. He might be dead but no one in the world but a few select figures know that so what sort of panic still lives in people? How have believers and non-believers coped with his presence? How has culture satirized, glorified and villified him? Are people still afraid of him? Will his story of conquest and tyranny be passed down for generations to come?
I want to know other people's thoughts on this.

wish L didnt die. I think some part of the world would go back to its crime acts and some would be fearful of the "next" kira. Who knows, another death God might drop a note book in our world.....
