Sorry, I'm useless for audiobooks, but I know a few great books anyway: How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming A Traveler's Guide to Mars The Black Hole at the Center of Our Galaxy An Anthropologist on Mars The Flight of the Iguana
You're welcome. They're all great in different ways, but my fave of the bunch is "Traveler's Guide". The author actually worked on the Mars mission and publishes a lot of previously unseen pics of the planet, many breathtaking and truly unique, such a pic from orbit of three dust devils moving across the surface. Okay, it might not sound like much, but imagine staring down the funnel of a tornado from orbit -- then make it three of them, leaving loooooong mark in the surface of Mars, like wayward pencils...
Bill Bryson
Michiu Kakio
James Kakelios
David Bodanis
Stephen Hawking
And they were all great but I want mooore! Preferably on audio-book since I don't have the time to read much. But I do have time to listen.
Any recommendations?
