I like to read thriller/fantasy genre novel in between painting...
Can you recommend any great stories you've read here? I like the writing style of Brandon Sanderson, GRR Martin, Tolkien and Dan brown. I like fast plot, witty exchange dialogue, simple language & vocabs (don't wanna look at dictionary for every 5 words I read, if ya know what I mean). :D

I have written a long steampunk fantasy novella set in the Warmachine gaming universe. It's titled The Sword of Morrow. If a long pieces aren't you thing I have some quick short stories I wrote for a Anthro Fantasy world which you can find here. [link]

Well that's good since none of my stories have any Vampires.

Ok, well let's see what i can do here...

ok, the basic meat and potatoes I am planning on having added is the first story arc of a Science Fiction piece i am doing callled Planet Scrapland. I plan on uploading only the first arc as a sample, since I have plans on trying to get the whole shebang publ;ished. on my channel, you can find some old(and quite flawed0 original drafts i had for the work. you can also find what was originally going to be "Chapter 0"- the orginal prelude chapter i had planned before i got some feedback that it derailed a bit to much from the main story proper, so you can check that out too!

I also have a sort of "pilot" short story i am working on, called Revenge of the Grappeler. that story is planned to be a graphic novel however, so i guess it's more like a script, as it sets the mood of the opening pages.

I also have several simple short stories scattered all over for your reading plaesure as well.

I think i didf that right, yeah? :iconmethinks:

I LOVE :iconfainting-goat:'s Loki series (no, not the Avenger). She also finished its sequel here. The only problem is, she removed the last half of the book because she's going to publish it. :( She inspired me to start posting my own chapters here (I'm only up to chapter five, though, because I don't write chronologically. I've got around twenty thousand words written that I can't post yet because the posted story hasn't gotten there yet).

Other than that, I haven't found anyone else who's written a good story and who hasn't fallen off of posting chapters. I'm very picky and can't stand it when people don't know how to use proper grammar/spelling.

Nope. It's actually about people who have found, through some means or another, that they are immortal. They start taking the names of gods (except a few, one gets stuck with the name Tim because he didn't change it right away and people got used to calling him that; another took the name Kingfisher because, "I like birds."), using all sorts of mythologies- Greek, Norse, Roman, Egyptian, Native American, etc. The story follows the person who took the name Loki, and it's fascinating.
