I NEED A BOOK

:iconraistishot:
Okay, I'm addicted to fantasy and need something to read. I'm out of school until next monday, April 16, due to the fact that I go to Ogden Prep Academy. I have time to visit a library and need recommendations. I read the Hunger Games alredy, all I want is Fantasy/SciFi possibly. Hit me up with your thoughts, please!

hm there's a very cute series "enchanted forest" which are more fairy-tale parodies then anything. The language is very simple and it's probably female-targeted but it's a decent read if you just want to blow some time.

If you are still looking, I'd recommend the Malazan Book Of The Fallen series. Ten utterly awesome books

The 'Leviathan' series by Scott Westerfeld is really good. So is his 'Uglies' series.
'The Haunting of Alaizabell Cray' and 'Poison' by Chris Wooding are great.

Ulldart by Markus Heitz - He's a German author, but I think his books got translated. Maybe you should also try 'the dwarves' by him.

Well, the list above is great adult novels, but considering you are 14 I would also add

-His Dark Materials
-Artemis Fowl
-Percy Jackson and the Olympians
-Eragon
-Harry Potter (if you haven't read that already)

From an avid fantasy reader. Here are some if my favorites:

-The Name of the Wind (coming of age story, but the characters and world are amaying and interesting)
-A Song of Ice and Fire (the game of thrones books. If you care about fantasy at all, you've probably heard of it by now)
-the Wheel of Time (big epic of good vs evil. 13 books out, last one coming next year. If you want months worth of reading, here it is)
-the farseer by robin hobb. (another coming of age series with amazing characters)
-american gods by neil gaiman (mythological gods in a modern world. Just one book, unlike most fantasy out there)
