Okay, I'm addicted to fantasy and need something to read. I'm out of school until next monday, April 16, due to the fact that I go to Ogden Prep Academy. I have time to visit a library and need recommendations. I read the Hunger Games alredy, all I want is Fantasy/SciFi possibly. Hit me up with your thoughts, please!
If you'd be willing to review it for me, I can give you a 100% off coupon for Smashwords.
Synopsis: Finding a cure for an ill princess is harder that it seems.
Traveling through the lands of Aelisonia, Lia and her band of adventurers hear a tale of an unusual illness that has caused the land of Feyris to go into famine and the disappearance of Queen Daylat.
On Lia's journey to find the cure through the world of Orinda she runs into the hands of the vicious gorlags and the heart of the Prince of Feyris, Rowan. Will she be able to find the cure for the princess before all hope is lost?
I also have a novel in a similar vein to Hunger Games and I'm looking for test readers for it.
C.J. Cherryh is a very underrated author. If you can find "The Pride of Chanur," or the omnibus "The Chanur Saga," I highly recommend that as a sci fi story told from the aliens' point of view. For fantasy, Peter David's "Sir Apropos of Nothing" is subversive, funny and quite unexpected!
