While I quit enjoyed the books, I definitely agree with you on the "no character development" bit, especially when it comes to Katniss. Only books I can recall reading where I liked the BOOK but hated the lead. She was naive to a fault, and never advanced.

she was so niave, but in a weird kinda way...
if you know where i'm coming from..

it may seem weird but she reminds me of those boys in cartoons, the ones where they have no clue that their friend/loser likes them and gets freaked out at romance. it was just the whole peeta and gale do they like me, but still better than her being some kind of male dependant whiny girl (bella swan anyone)

Hi,

I moved your thread to the more appropriate Books & Comics forum. The Literature forum is for discussing writing (etc) as listed in the Posting Guidelines: [link]

Have a good one. :)

No worries. Each forum should have some sticky posts that remain at the top, and one of them will be the Forum Guidelines for that particular forum. Those will always tell you what's appropriate, and usually give you a link to the related forums. Check those before posting and you'll usually be set. :D
