Hello, my name is DrawDrone, and i'm at this awkward stage where I wonder which way should I take my art. I enjoy drawing more cartoony stuff, but also want to improve my skills in drawing semi-realistic characters (i.e. realistic proportions with some of the features left exaggerated). So far, i've been floating somewhere in the center between cartoon stylistics and realism.
Joined DA this month, in hopes of finding my way in the world of art, and getting my art noticed and hopefully improving it.
That would be it for the introductions, now I'm off to sketch stuff 'till my pencil burns.
Draw it allThe realism will help the cartoony and the cartoony will give you freedom to exagerate. Even daVinci did chartoons, they were called grotesques though. There is no reasson to specialise
You've got an interesting style as it is, and you blend the two style sets of cartoony and realistic fairly well in it. just draw what you want, and ditto to the blurb up there
