I've been working on my dA profile since August, and this is the first time I've dropped by the forums. This sounded like a good place to start. I look forward to meeting folks.
For myself, I mostly do artwork related to Medieval subjects. Also, I'm very interested in the artwork and iconography of playing cards. Professionally, I make art for smartphone games. A majority of my art is digital, either Illustrator or PhotoShop. My newest thing though is Prismacolor markers.
I'm in a recreation group called the Society for Creative Anachronism. The group has a lot of focus on medieval arts -- in my case reproduction of period painting styles ([link][link]) and heraldic display ([link][link]). Also, I do a lot of illustrations for the newsletter of the local territory -- those tend to be medieval subject matter, but not necessarily with period techniques; even computers are fair game! As for games, I've been developing games since the 90s. I tend to prefer to work on hardware that is more limiting, rather than the most powerful game consoles. In the old days, SNES, GameBoy and such. Then we worked on cellphones and up to the latest smartphones and tablets. ([link][link])
