New to the Forums

So, I'm not really new to DA. In fact, I've had this account for night two years now. =] I just really started using it about six months ago and I'm just now starting to use the forums.

Anywho, the name's Kyte. =D I'm an avid cosplayer - I've been cosplaying for almost four years at this point. ^^ I have pictures of various shots of me in my costumes in my gallery, but that's really about all I have in there, hahaa~ I'm a geek. What can I say? I suppose my friends would say I've passed into the nerd realm, but that's another story for another time. I attend various cons, including Nan Desu Kan which will be coming up next month. I've got many more interests beyond anime, manga, gaming, and cosplay. This includes reading, writing, and sleeping. Beyond that, I don't have a whole lot to say. =] Hi forums!

I would say welcome but in my ignorance I never realised that there was a forum (and I've used DeviantART for over a year, facepalm).

You can't start a forum, but you can make threads. On the main forum page, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see "New Forum Thread."

The chats are separate, but you'll usually see a lot of forumers in devchat. There's also TheComplaintsTavern. :lol:

There are probably more, but none that I go to, really.

Hey there, welcome to the forum! :D,

Do you have any favourite games at all, if so which?

It's always nice see people cosplaying as their favourite characters, though I myself haven't got the design skills to actually create a fully fledged costume or anything! I'd love to be able to properly attempt designing one some day though!

Well, I've been a fan of the Kingdom Hearts series since it came out. =] Beyond that, I enjoy the Final Fantasy games, Tenchu, Halo, Borderlands... I'm currently watching a friend of mine play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. ^^ I'll be going through Twilight Princess once that's done.

Hahaa, I don't have the design skills either. xD I just buy my cosplay or get :iconryuu-kizu: to sew them for me. I can do wigs and make-up. That's about it.

That's an ace list of games! I haven't played Final Fantasy for some years myself, but Halo, Zelda, and Borderlands I have played into oblivion. :D

I recently finished and uploaded an Ocarina of Time digital drawing on my profile in fact, as it is one of my all time favourites. Twilight Princess was great too, Zelda titles are generally really good games!

Come to think of it, I did create my own sturdy version of a Deku shield as part of a summer project once, and that turned out great! I wouldn't call that cosplay though, as it's mounted on my wall nowdays.

It's great that you love doing it all though, as it requires a brilliant imagination to do such things! :)

Ah! I forgot Left 4 Dead. =] Anyways, I just finished Borderlands yesterday with my cosplay partner. xD Thanks to that game, I've gotten better at shooters. I'm still not great, but I'm getting there. =] Can't wait for the sequel. =D

Really? =D I'll have to go take a look! Hahaa, I wouldn't mind cosplaying as the Twilight Princess version of Zelda one of these years. =] I'd do Link, but, well, we'll see. xD I generally don't look great with blonde hair.

Hahaa, it may not be cosplay, but that requires talent! =D Drawing and building are two of the skills that I'm lacking on. =]
