fourth time i do this - last times i really enjoyed what you have posted, and commented, faved and watched a lot.
so here we go again: this thread is for all photographers who consider themselves as talented, but not yet professional.
i would like to see your works, so post up to 5 thumbs.
this is none of this stupid "i will watch you when you watch me" threads. i would like people like us to link, so i would appreciate it, if we can start commenting on our pics constructively - pushing us one another along the way.
so, let us add one another to our watch-list if we consider it appropriate and comment on the pics of one another. now and in future as well. i would like you to make the first move and comment on one or more of my works - this way i see that you are honestly interested in exchanging comments and constructive critiques, not just in receiving them.
so post away and have fun!

"I don't do too well with fortune tellers. The last one I went to see, told me I was destined to fall for a guy who flies a lot and likes to wear tights. So I'm just waiting for my cross-dressing pilot to make his landing." - Lois Lane
i have commented on almost all of these (and many more pictures from you) but i'll write here again because i think differently about some of the pictures:
"When the sun sets… II" -i like sunset reflection photos, and this one really plays well with the tree shadow, the water and the sand/mud(?) there's a really strong contrast between light and shadow here, almost two toned. but is that too strong? too bright?
"Damn I am thirsty" -i think the angle and shadows on the sculpture are great (just like the title!) but there are too many things in the background, it's too confusing?
"Yellow" -as i've said before, great grain and depth of field in this shot, pity about the small distracting flower underneath. otherwise i love this shot
"Patagonia" -bright clouds and snow, this is a camera thing... not a photographer thing the lines in the rock lead the eye over the lake and towards the mountains. nicely framed!
"This is the end" -pretty cool view in the background, i only laughed at a joke someone made in the comments! i wondered what it looked like black and white? because there are a lot of really nice contrasts and textures, how would it look with a red filtered b/w?
a lot of your photos here are really popular, the one thing i still like about your work is that it is unique, you try things that aren't "classic" and "learned".
