Hello everyone,
i plan to do a news feature in the next few days entitled "memories of summer". i want to see your best peice of artwork from this summer. It has to have been created this summer (2009) and can be of any media, drawn, photo, mixed media, sculpture etc. Anything that makes you think of the summer just gone. If you want to be featured send me a thumb and a bit about yourself as an artist and will consider your work :D

I'm Rania, a twenty-year-old amateur photographer who's in love with him and the sea. Photography became my passion just one year ago and I've been self-taught and enjoying life's beauty through my lens ever since.

A little background info: I was told by someone while in California, that sculptors will go out on the beach early in the morning while it's still quiet, and create these beautiful Sand Castle masterpieces. It was really interesting to watch the beach-goers fondle over the castle. And what I really loved was the fact that not a single person laid a hand on it, but simply appreciated the sculptor's work.

This remind me of summer because every year, Arizona experiences what is called "Monsoon Season".
Almost every evening, viscous storms roll through the valley, and I was ballsy enough to try and capture some of the lightning!

And how could you not love this little boy? :)

I hope you enjoy. :)
