Well, as we all know, the new year is coming up, So I am doing a massive journal for it to celebrate, and I would love to feature some of this years fantastic photography =D so:

Post a thumbnail of what you think is your best photo/photomanipulation of the year 2008.
only post ONE thumbnail, your very best

I will select my 10 favorites and feature them in my journal =) which isn't saying much but still. you got featured. stop complaining.

I will offer a large critique on all of them, if desired. (I will notify you if you get featured and ask)

Finally, of those 10 I will feature the 2 best ones again in my next few journals after the new year.

NO MACABRE! sorry. but if you think a macabre shot is your best one, your wrong.

Please, have your photos in by the 31/12/08 so I can put them in my journal =D

However, I disagree strongly with your comment on macabre photos. Some of the best I've seen are macabre/horror.

I understand. However macabre is something I don't get into very much, I find it an attempt to express pain with little work, rather than with subtle symbolism and colours.

But actually, Some younger people might view my journal and some of my watchers are only young. I dont want to scar children lol.

As for your picture, very nice. Such a beautiful sunset. We don't get ones as pretty as that here ><
Hopefully many people will have some pretty images as rich and bold as this one.

I had a hard time picking which one to post.
