Okee dokee, I just thought there should be a sub-gallery for Calligraphy in Digital Art and in Traditional Art, for people who like to do Digital and Traditional Calligraphy here on dA. I know of tons of people who do Calligraphy, and a couple clubs/communities (like this one!) for it, too. But I've also seen many Calligraphers complain how they always just have to put their work in Miscelleneous sections. It's something to look into. :shrug:

Indeed. Many people have made this suggestion before, but it never hurts to put up a new thread suggesting it. I want a Calligraphy sub-category too, darn it! :D

I know, I've posted in a few topics like this, but they seem to die down too quickly and the gallery hasn't happened yet. So I'm going to try and promote this forum topic, because the FAQ says they make new galleries if there's enough demand!

Yeah - I mean, take a look at some of the sub-categories out there that are VERY specific. Calligraphy is actually a fairly broad category, so you'd think that there would be one on DA.

Hell ya There should be a category for this! I do a bit myself at home acctually ^_^; But its an art! A huge one at that and we should Damn have a category for it!
