Violation Report

In the last time there's many art thief's who's stealing others peoples work. You press the violation report button and report the stolen deviation that member's has stole it and doesn't belongs to them. Simple. isn't it? So... Why do I mentioning this? Problem is that the violation reports works too slow. Sometimes it needs more then just one Violation report ticket so the deviation that has been stole get removed and member got banned. Sometimes take a hole one week so the dA admins take an action. One things that's pisses me off It's the stupid rule that the DA has submitted: "dA admins wont take action if the member is under 14 years old". How stupid that sounds? Should be logically and simply report a member for stealing others people work and banned he's account? And delete all stolen deviation that he has? It's really unfair for those admins who have made such stupid rule that makes no sense. Art thief is an art thief and he should be banned and all hes deviation should be removed. With no thinking. What do you think? Should we change that rule and make this DA be better or no? We pay our Premium membership and points. So if they think that they will have more and more members, then, they should start work seriously on customers by protecting their works from an art thief's and banned them without thinking, no matter does it art thief has 10 or 14 or 52 or 58. Art thief is an art thief and there's no rules for it how old is he. If they don't do that, then we will not give a cent to them. No matter how many times they will gonna beg us and give us an actions for buying a Premium Membership and points over E-mail and via note, we won't gave them nothing. When they have decided to give all these coll stuff that we can buy it, Then protect people's work against art thief's. Let's make together this way better then in the past.

I agree with puppy-dangerous, if you want the site to work faster you have to pay for their services. In the end this is a free website, you need to take into account the amount of people they would be required to hire, just to monitor all the complaints and violations. I get that art theft isn't a joke, but when you're on a free website, you can only expect so much. I have it happen before that people have used or re-posted my art; half the time it's just a misunderstanding, and when I call them out on it usually I've gotten apologies and they've removed it. Making people aware of what they're doing is a big part of it.
Regardless of a website's policies you should make sure to always sign your art and date it... for your own protection so you could prove that you have the original. Also, I know it looks horrible and I don't use it myself but DA does provide the option of watermarking your art so that even if someone downloads the picture your stamp is still on it.

Well if you're reports are written anything like this post, I can see why it would take so long. Having to cut through all that poor grammar was really time consuming.

Deviants under the age of 13 (I know you said 14) shouldn't even be on this site! Plus if we let them get away with it they'll think they're invisible and keep stealing and stealing and pissing other deviants off to the point of closing their accounts, which is negative in two ways:
One, the site loses a wonderful artist.
Two: The younger art thieves will just move on to another person and continue to repeat the cycle.

BUT if they are banned for theft hopefully they would have learned their lesson. If not then maybe being banned is better for them.

I agree with you my friend. It's a great loose to lost a wonderful artist. Art thief's must respect the rules that people posting it, DA is site for deviations and for selling artwork and making friendships not a photobucket or thumblir where you can do everything that you want without being responsible for consequences that you made. If you know what I'm trying to say.

I'm really confused about this 'rule' you're talking about it. Link to the source?

And you can't be ten and on deviantART anyways, COPPA law is a lot more vital to deal with than copyright sometimes.

Does this explains you enough? [link]
And this?
This is stupid really, no one suddenly ages four years in one day, and no one treats DA like Facebook and posts personal pictures nor treats here like photobucket where you can post anything you want.

Isn't DA even paying attention to how childish this theif looks? She doesn't look 14 at all, and just look at how she whines and complains about us in her journals.

And lets not mention she wrote to all the groups I owned saying I am a spammer and she will report to her mommy to get us banned.

So honestly, I think we would run DA better here than the admins, how could they miss the fact this person is a thief and she is obviously underage and admitted to being 10
[link]
And this?
See? You don't age so quickly and that is an OBVIOUS admittance to being 10...yet DA admins say that is an admittance to being '14'...
How do you explain that?:stare:

Uh, someone's art quality is not a valid way to judge their age. I know tons of people in their thirties who think they're artists while they draw like a ten year old. I feel like I'm missing something, because I also was ten but now am 21. They might be underage, but I see no evidence that supports banning them. COPPA cannot be taken lightly. It's a legal matter, and they need to go on a lot more than drawing style or the way they talk, no matter how childish you find it.

Indeed. But this person doesn't respect rules. She stole many peoples work and claim it as it own, no matter how many times member's has told her do not do that do not post something that doesn't belongs to her. She's still doing that. When author of work tell her to remove deviation that she stole from him, she block him flagging him a a spam hide he's comments and report him to admins that he's a troll. What for? For telling her to remove a deviation that she stole it from him? Is that fair to you?
