Is there a way to disable "more like this"?

I don't mind this feature being there, but I want to be able to turn it off. It shouldn't be difficult to implement.
Or is there already a way to do it, and I'm just blind?

Yes, this please! I very occasionally use my da account in applications to employers because as a fanart account it displays my ability to style hop. But the 'More Like This' function means that fetish/erotic/otherwise questionable fanwork by others is being displayed next to mine! Even if employers know how to use DA, the association is there and the damage is already done.

(though a little disclaimer: People can draw whatever they want, I don't mind at all. But for my professional persona, I can't have that kind of stuff next to mine, it can hurt business a lot!)

Please give us an option to turn this on or off on our deviation pages.

It doesn't work 100% properly just yet. One several of my deviations, it just displays ancient work of mine, dumb comics that have nothing to do with the work in the first place.

However, if you click it and just scroll down properly, it works decently. It hasn't got this problem on other people's work usually. And I do find it a helpful tool often when scouting for new favourites. :la: So in the end, I do think I'm a fan.

It should be smaller, though. It indeed discourages others to comment or look at your work properly. And it's pretty much an eyesore at this size. :noes:

I don't like "more like this" too. Too much invasive. It's placed in a really noising place IMHO. it push down the "download button" and others author reference more interesting that MLT. It should be collapsible area.

I'm also now reading on the website update that people are finding mature rated fetish porn in MLT at random... I'm telling you this thing is going to be a disaster unless they either disable it or reprogram it from scratch.

Yeah, I'm getting stuff that doesn't seem to have anything to do with my own art as "more like this" on my page. If we can't disable it, can they at least fix it so that it actually is "more like this" not "here, random stuff!"

Ok I agree now.. More Like This is really starting to piss me off :fight:
Here is the problem as I see it- an artist has decided to step up his game in the past couple years let's say. S/he wants the latest work to be the best, and knows that their featured page has only the best on it- in chronological order AS IT SHOULD BE. Or by popular, which is usually the better stuff on top.
More Like This causes seemingly random, old, bad works to show up in this glaring widget, taking the focus off the much nicer and higher quality work they're supposed to be looking at!!!
I've had to start deleting more embarrassing old drawings because they keep showing up on deviations that aren't even subject-related. GARRRRR!!!!

I think dA should focus less on widgets and more time on the "oops" pages
that keep popping up every damn time I try to surf the site. OTL
