Featured Deviation "Full View" automatically resizes to 900px high

Instead of asking you to upload a file that's 900px high, the "Full view" Featured Deviation on a profile page should automatically resize a larger image to 900px high.

I have made this request once too. It is apparently too tedious and memory consuming to have a system that works that way. Here was my thread with the extensive response I got
