Changing the color of DA

I couldn't help but notice the new poll. Does DA plan to create a permanent color change?

If DeviantArt wishes to change the color of the website, why not host a week of rainbow? Seven days a week, seven major colors of the rainbow, it fits. We vote the day after the Week of Rainbow and pick a permanent color change.

Or perhaps they could add a feature for Premium members to change the color of the site using a spectrum/brightness/saturation "graph".

I use an app that works with Chrome that can change the color of some websites. Currently my deviantart is dark gray

Because that's not how you design websites. That's not how you design anything. That's how you piss off 90% of of your users every single day of the week.

This is why people who don't understand design shouldn't be allowed to give feedback on design.

Deviantart is green. It's part of the logo, the concept and all.
It's like facebook, it's blue.

It's about branding.

They put up a poll so they don't have to change the site theme. Changing colors takes a lot more work than just asking the community a simple question.

I've visioned this site with another color and the best color that is easy on the eye is green.

No. I like the green that dA currently uses simply because it's neutral. I don't think they should change it or offer color option to premium members.
