There are people who don't like certain stuff when searching for art. But not like using the categories because it could limit heir search for art they like. So maybe we can have a filter given to the more broad categories.
Example: Some greatly dislike photographs, and when they just want to search for fanart of a game they come across more photographs than fanart. So with the filter they no longer have to come across any more photographs and search for art that they are more acceptable to them.
And maybe with the fewer pictures there would be less loading times.
There is no distinction between photographs, drawings, digital art etc. to our search engine except for the categories the deviations are in. So the best I can recommend is to add -inhotography to your queries to exclude deviations in the photography category.
Hope that helps. Also have a look at [link] if you haven't yet.
I would be happy if there was a "No 'Ponies'" button, like there is with mature content. Sometimes a guy just want to browse some digital art without every third piece being a pony. Is that too much to ask?
