That's it. At times I mistakenly delete a submission from my DeviantWatch list, and am unable to find it through search because I didn't read title or author, so I'd truly have use of a recycle bin for those things. As far as I need, items in the recycle bin can be deleted after ten minutes, because if I notice that I've deleted something I didn't want to, I'll go check the bin quite immediately. Or let's make a few hours... who can ever know unexpected needs to go afk immediately and for long.
Everyone makes mistakes, that's why they put erasers on pencils.
--- Actually, this is a repost of this thread: [link] but since the old one died without any hint about the suggestion being accepted or rejected at all despite the apparently good feedback it had (and since I keep on misclicking the DeviantWatch messages now and then), I'm reposting here with hope it gets considered. Besides, the unwanted deletion of a DeviantWatch message hurts both the user and the artist who'll most probably lose watches, faves and comments. ---
Yeah don't expect responses from dA staff in here, but they do pay attention. That said, I've made that mistake myself a few times, and your suggestion would be useful.
Staff almost never acknowledge whether or not they're considering a suggestion here in this forum. They mostly read, take in thoughts, and discuss internally with other staff. That's why it's simply a suggestions forum.
As for the suggestion, I agree it would be nice to have a trash bin similar to email, which gets periodically purged. I too sometimes accidentally remove something and then immediately regret it because I don't know where to find it on my own.
