I was thinking the other day how useful, inspiring or interesting it'd be to allow an artist to have a way to show their appreciators what make and model of graphics tablet they used when creating a piece of artwork they had submitted, (where relevant, such as in the Digital Art -> Paintings and Airbrushing sections. Perhaps when they submit a piece, on the Submit Art page they could either select from a drop-menu list the make and model of the tablet they used for that particular piece.
Though of course if tablets could embed data into a file created with the tablet then that'd be easier to make more universally used etc, but that's currently not possible. So, yeah,.. to select from a simple drop-menu the make and model of tablet they used when they were in the process of submitting a piece of artwork they had created - what do you all think? Worth implementing? Would you want to know? Would it help you if you knew what they had used? What else would you add to my idea? Any senior admins want to offer some constructive feedback?
Can't you, as the artist, just include that information in the description section of your artwork. I don't see any value added by having a separate feature for this.
Honestly, as =puppy-dangerous said, there's actually almost no difference between most tablets when it comes specifically to drawing with them. Some have different levels of pressure sensitivity, but that isn't really noticeable as far as I've seen.
