I've noticed an increase in misplaced images that are not photomanipulation because they are not a photograph, but then end up in weird places liked Three Dimensional and Vector. Which are completely different.
The issue mainly other than permission to use art but when it is ok using public domain artwork it seems like there is no category for these people.
I was thinking since it's obviously digital work, perhaps unlike a scrapbook which never makes it into the first page or on the deviant's profile for others to see. Perhaps a category for this form of Post Modernism would be more appropriate.
Some suggested names for it off the top of my head.
I see `phoenixleo has redirected you to the right place already, at $Moonbeam13's thread please make any category suggestions there instead! Thank you I'll lock this for you now
Even if it's several 'stock' 3D resources used, it would most likely go to the 3D gallery unless there's other photographic, traditional or paint element involved then goes to Mixed media.
There's Digital art > Mixed Media or Photography > Darkroom or say Photography > Surreal sometimes can work for digital photography collages.
Photography with edit in itself would go to either Photography > darkroom or digital > miscellaneous.

-Digital> Scrapbook-
-Digital> Imaging-
-Digital> Manipulation- (Not limited to photography)
-Digital> Collage-
-Digital> Miscellaneous-
And to avoid more confusion placing these also under Digital Anime and Cartoons.
And then a final Category that will keep me happy and away from.
-Digital> Photoshop Filter> Single/Multiple-
So yeah, that's my dime for the day.
