when clicking on deviations to open in a new tab it doesn't work; I wish this would be improved upon

:iconwing-1plz:
this has been a thing for as long as I can remember on deviantart or as long as I've been using it

I go through my deviations and I like to close out all the bad ones and open the ones I like in a new tab by clicking the scroll wheel of my mouse so I don't have to leave the page just to look at an image and I can look at the images I liked in tabs after I sort them

but sometimes it doesn't work, it's actually slightly infuriating, you click with the scroll wheel and it just has a slow loading sign and just takes you to the next page regardless, this doesn't happen ANYWHERE on ANY OTHER website as far as I know and I wish they would give attention to it.

furthermore, sometimes I will be sorting through them and it will just cancel everything and pop up a window on my screen saying "unknown error occured: invalid response received" I think if the error was unknown then it wouldn't happen every day, this wouldn't be a problem if it didn't open a window that you HAVE to close or you can't exit the page.

these are really very minor interface issues but I hope someone will hear me out and maybe they will be addressed, or maybe they can't be I don't know.
but if you have an empty life like me and just sit on dA all day you really start to notice and it can be frustrating.

What do you mean "top paying premium member"? I've been paying for years and sometimes they don't help me either. :O

I never had any issues with the help desk, whether I was paying or not.

That's a bullshit excuse, I'm sorry you aren't smart enough to realize that.

actually my experience says otherwise the help desk is garbage.

Well, maybe they just don't like YOU then. I've never had it take more than 48 hours to get an issue looked at.

And I didn't start paying for a membership until maybe 4 years ago. Had a free one for a long time before that.

well that is horrible customer service treating someone based on your own moral compass?

whoever thinks that way should be fired

when I work I don't judge based on who they are

*shrug*

I mean, I agree with you there.

But people are people. I do know they will start to ignore deviants that spam the helpdesk with stuff.

Not saying YOU do that, just an observation.

I worked in customer service for a long time. And unfortunately there are those people that contact you and you're all sitting around groaning going 'I do NOT want to talk to them again!' Sometimes the person is unreasonable, most of the time they are just always mad or difficult to deal with.

yeah umm I make perfectly justified inquiries and the fastest I have ever gotten one even with a premuim is one week.

customer service is terrible and needs to be revised.

I worked with REAL customer service for AT&T and I talked to people 8 hours a day with their problems I'm just a dumbass teenager and I helped alot of people if I can do that then why can't they help?

the customer service system here needs revision.
