Note System Improvements IDEAS

Hello;

I have been a deviant for...quite a while now and as i do use mostly the comments to talk to other deviant i have found this quite a practical system.

Afterward i also use excessively notes. An i also receive a fair amount of them and there are many problems i often have. That often result in me being unable to do anything about it without exerting myself for hours looking for the note in question.

- I would be in favor of a Search engine for our Notes. Being able to search throughout our notes and finding the ones we need in particular via sender or title, or both. text would be a BIT too complicated

- Group notes under their title that would open a scroll list with all previous notes affiliated to that very title.

- Simply group note by Sender. Which can easily help save time searching

- And also an option to view only the un-REPLIED notes. Because as usually ALL notes are seen. Some of them are seen in a hurry, were meant to be replied to,left in the inbox and...forgotten. After a long time you are reminded. "Hey are you ever going to reply to "That note?".... no... because i have hardly any luck in finding it.

Now, i am not saying the note system is Bad or Chaotic. Just that a few tweaks (that will probably be blood and sweat) can make it better than it already is.

Great ideas. I love these suggestions! I was just looking into this last week and looked through a ton of simple ways the interface could really be improved -- even just the date formats, icons, formatting, spacing, etc.

I am happy that you found these ideas very interesting. I personnaly want the idea of The unreplied note system most because... its what makes comments and feedback so good. We only see what we have to comment to and can delete and reply if we want and we know that we can look through them for anything not answered or deleted. The note system however has always...for me lacked Flexibility ....being a bit too rigid.

And while, yes, you can mark unreplied notes.... i don't plan not to reply to them and its often forgotten so marking doesn't come to mind at first.

The first two are commonly suggested and quite in demand and staff are aware of this.
The third one could be added as an option I suppose, but since the first two would already cover that part for a topic note by the same deviant to be found in search, it would be redundant.
For the fourth one, yes. Though, you can always mark a read/un-replied note as 'UNREAD' in your notes and can see that in your unread section of notes.
