Honestly every weekend Deviant staff takes off. So I'm suggesting it take up volunteer members to moderate deviations posted so we can avoid the hordes of porn, gore, and other spamming/rule breaking deviations found on the site. It's honestly overrun lately, and I can't seem to report fast enough. Let alone have my problems and cries for help tended to.

Just to clarify, since you seem to be under the impression that gore is 'rule breaking'. It isn't. Deviations with a gory theme should be marked as Mature Content, as explained in this FAQ FAQ #220: What is Mature Content?

Unnecessarily graphic real-life images of death and corpses do violate policy (check out FAQ #7: What is the policy concerning photographs of corpses, cruelty or death? for more info), as do images depicting real-life self-injury (FAQ #284: Can we submit photographs showing actual injury, self-harm and mutilation?), but a deviation isn't automatically breaking any rules simply for having gory content (no matter how much you might personally dislike it).

I know, I've read the rules carefully. The only gore I have an actual problem with is a self harm, in which case that's a trigger for people who've had issues with it in the past as far as I've been told.

Sure, as soon as you raise more funds to pay for that work.

Chop chop get to it.

K, it's right here in my pocket. As a volunteer mod system in which the mods are appointed based on criteria is most likely, it'd cost nothing.

Isn't that what is already done?

Nah, they have staff at the help desk who try, but sometimes fail and they're only human. They're paid if I'm informed correctly, and there's not very many of them to handle such a large site.

There is a large portion of unpaid volunteers that help operate this site already.
