Block and/or opt out of groups

Hi! There are certain groups I don't want my photos in, but I keep getting requests over and over and over.

I've tried adding them to my block list, posting on their walls, sending notes, blocking the admins. Nothing works.

Can you please create an option whereby I can block requests from a group?

And/or create an option where I can just opt out of all groups entirely?

Thanks!

If you don't want that people share your stuff..which is beneficial for you and mostly you anyway, why do you even upload your works to the internet.

you did not describe why you don't want people to share your stuff in groups.

Hmm. I thought I had. Anyway, I keep getting requests from groups that objectify body parts, which I find distasteful.

ah..the boobs and ass "groups" seriously i don't get why something like those are even allowed on a site about art. Includng nude art. Those groups are indeed distasteful to both the models, females in general and you the photographers as well. Indeed a good point, but in that case the problem is maybe that those groups should not be a part of dA.

I wouldn't mind something like this as well. While I don't get a lot of submission requests to groups (I barely use keywords/tags for my uploads) there are some pieces I'm sure I'd not want added to any group or just keep it to one special group only.

I have tried this too, with AN photos I get people who like to take my work out of context and request it for groups that are kinda, lewd for my taste haha. You know like the "titsnass!" types groups. I've blocked them, and while it keeps me from being able to comment on their wall, it doesn't seem to do anything else and I keep getting requests too.

Exactly! The block should be a true block.

That would be an interesting idea.

That there is an option for the user at the other end of the pool, I mean.

If we can block deviants, then we might as well be able to block groups and group messages

I for one would like to be able to block "Hot" Topics and the like, since I have absolutely no interest in them
