Possibility for more collection options?

I feel like the collections option for dA accounts are kind of limited, it only allows one branch of collected pieces and thats it, while groups can have collections with collections inside them.

If its possible to give this ability to those faving works of other people, it won't notify the person who already has the deviation faved, it'd just be under the second most general branch like 'Misc Nintendo Faves' to them, but it won't say which group inside 'Misc Nintendo Faves' it'll be under.

Basically you're saying you want subfolders for the folders in your favourites, like we have with our main galleries?

That gets suggested quite a lot. I wonder why they didn't add subfolders to favs when they did to galleries...

Uhh I am not sure I get what you're suggesting.

Users having the ability of sub-folders like their galleries is commonly suggested and staff are aware of this. Either there is a problem with adding that feature to the favourites section or it's not as important right now to do that.

However, if the system is put in place and you are saying the sub folder should not be given the name to appear when you fave someone's work and the artist would only receive the main folder in notification rather than the sub folder, I disagree with it. I would rather they show either both (resulting in where it goes) or only the sub folder. Clicking the folder / subfolder name for the artist would already lead them to the folder where their deviation is at. Having only show the main folder would be missing the information.

You can also favourite the whole collection folder of someone else in your favourites (just drag it to your collection folder or favourites) and it wouldn't result in all the faves to those individual pieces if that's what you are trying to say.

Otherwise I have no idea what you are trying to say.

Being able to make collection groups inside another, like how groups are able to.

Like, I saw in a group called 'The Jenova Project' they had a collection called 'Remnants' and then had a collection inside that one named 'Kadaj.'

I want to be able to do that for my favorites.
