Could we add blankets and pillows to the prints shop?

Lately I've been looking at Walmarts Photo Center page, and I saw they were offering custom photo plush fleece blankets [link], and now I really want a blanket with my own art on it.

Sure mousepads and coasters are neat, but I have a trackpad and nobody here cares to use coasters. How awesome would it be to have your own art on your bed and couch? It's getting pretty cold here, so a soft fleece blanket with my own work on it would be amazing.

Personally, I'd love to see the soft fleece ones instead of something woven, but you could always offer both. They also offer photo throw pillows, so that could be another thing to add to the shop as well.

Christmas is coming and I don't want to have to settle for Walmart. If dA offers these anytime soon I'm buying one in a heartbeat.

Same :D! I'm actually working on my soon-to-be-blanket image. I figure it's probably too late for them to get everything together for Christmas, so I'll most likely have to get it at Walmart.

It would be wonderful if DA did it, but yeah it probably is a little too late for setting it up for christmas, and the over seas shipping may be too costly. I would personally like mine to be a one of a kind item that only I owned if I had one made.

I figured I'd put my name on there to discourage other people from wanting one. I'd prefer to use dA, because I want to support the site. Still...maybe by the time they do offer it my art will have improved, and I'll have a much better image to use for the second blanket :nod:.

Oh man that gives me another idea, what if they did wrapping paper? Obviously you'd have to make your image with tiling in mind, but production-wise you'd just be printing on a giant roll of paper.

It doesn't have to be limited to holidays. A photo blanket would make an awesome birthday gift.
