Redirect links to moved threads

On the Forums page, next to each board there's a link to the most recently submitted threads. Once in a while, the thread is not appropriate to that board and is moved by a moderator to where it belongs.

When that happens, the link breaks. If you click on it you get the "Oops" page. Trouble is, sometimes the thread looks interesting, and I'd really like to see it no matter where it happens to have ended up.

It'd be nice if either 1) The thread appeared as the most recent one started in its NEW board; or 2) the link redirected you to the thread in its current location.

Yes! It has been suggested so many times, and I am very sure staff are aware of this. But it probably is at the back drawer for now probably.

Hadn't seen it before, but I don't go to this board much. I only know it's a frequent annoyance.

I can only imagine then, that the software design of these forums makes it more difficult to implement than we might expect.

Probably. There are so many things forum needs an upgrade of though. While they are aware of it, it may not be their priority right now I guess.
