Ability to Comment on Specific Lines of Literatue Deviations or Quote Original Text

:iconlationthelatios:
I think it would be quite useful if while reading a literature work on da, it would be possible to post a comment that is linked to a specific section of the work or possibly a quoting feature to reprint some of the original without retyping it yourself. This would make it easier to comment about specific points in a story, or clearly notify the author of an error.

I like this feature for critiques. Last time I checked we still can't copy/paste when the critique screen pops up.

It would be interesting if it was like MS Word, I suppose, but there are ways around that already, even if it is a bit cumbersome. :hmm:

You can copy/paste and use the blockquote feature to do this I suppose. Or an inline line number being shown and referring to that.
I hope they could edit the comments features in the film/animation to show those comments in those sections as well. An option to show them alongside other ones, rather than going through scrobbling to find them.

I hope not, because they might add the same thing to images afterwards... a bit like how facebook's tagging works except it'd be a comment only... No thanks for me. :(

Although there is the obvious copy-and-paste option, I think similar to film deviations, perhaps selecting a line number of having a nice way to use HTMl to quote, would be a lovely addition for literature deviations.

Select text. Ctrl C. Click into text field. Ctrl P. Put brackets or italics or whatever around the text. Comment at will.

You can select text in a lit deviation with your cursor and just copy/paste it into your own comment, then either put quote marks around it or style it, like this, like this, or in a <blockquote>.
