Furries, Vore/Other Child-Attracting Sexual Fetishes

I was wondering, what policy does dA have about users creating such child-genre deviations in order to start threads with sexual talk? For example, the very common, "furry" and "vore" issues (and whatever else like it I'm missing... thankfully).

I have noticed that deviants that are (or at least, claim to be) younger and younger are jumping on board, 14 etc. If *I* see that... there's much younger.

These deviants use "childish" language and CARTOONS which will only encourage yet younger children to be interested in what's going on. Furry, etc, subject matter *ultimately* encourages a disgusting mix of beastiality and paedophilia and Vore subject matter is also creating an unhealthy, destructive mixture of desires in YOUNG people. Same thing, childish language, cartoons. These deviation's threads are there for anybody of any age to read and interact with.

dA is renowned for this stuff, flooded with it. By rights it should have an age 21+ rating because this stuff is not filtered or managed.

It would be fine if kept to a restricted site, or properly restricted on this one.

I believe it's important to keep things like this more private than it is here.

It's difficult to censor the more ambiguous sexual content like this, I know. Perhaps there should be a mature content category? Or is there already something that I am unaware of? If so, let me know, and I will report these deviations under the correct category.

No and no.

Everything's welcome here on dA, within it's limits. If something is reportable, just report it.

But children are never allowed on here, and if you think teenagers aren't already jacking it to fetishes you have another thing coming when you actually browse the internet. Hence why the mature content filter exists and is automatically on for anyone under 18 -- Not that they aren't about to google all the t 'n a they need.

How is that out of context? You're attacking one subgenre of sexuality while the others run rampant, on a website not intended for children in the first place, on the internet: mother of all masturbation.

I certainly think there's an argument for encouraging fetish stuff (of any kind) to be under MC.

I mean, it seems really strange to me that a non sexual picture with a naked breast in it has to be MC, but someone's actual pornography does not have to just because it does not involve vanilla sex.

That doesn't make any sense. If we filter erotic content then that should cover anything made for tittilation purposes.

If course the problem is determining that intention in cases where the content would not appear disturbing to a general audience.

I find some of your opinions valid and others no so much. Anthro (humanized animals) and Furries, which i assume are similar are not always about sex. Yes, i find a disgusting amount of super sexual content on the site that i do not like but i have no problem with the art as long as its filters. if it is not and there is too much, and i have a high tolerance level, then i suggest that the artist put a filter on it. Easy as that.

as someone who draws naked individuals that that are sometimes mixed with animals, i try to filter anything and everything that may offend someone and i don't have sexual content only nudity.

there is a mature filter that can be put on art, a warning and a strict. Warning can be viewed by anyone but are warned and strict are blocked for anyone under 18, something the website keeps track of if you put your correct birthday in. It seems to me that you are a bit more conservative in what you think is disgusting and i am curiuos to know where you draw the line and to be examples of some of these "disgusting" works.
