I did do a quick search to see if this topic had been covered but i think must be blind. So if there is Mods move this into it.
Ok since being a premium member i have enjoyed experience apart from the new upload (drive you nuts stashing) upgrade but the constant bombardement of notes about do this or join this or coming soon is getting very boring now is there a way to click a tick box somewhere to say i dont want to receive notes?? or other junk messages.
I paid good money for a year on here and i expected this to be a feature, but i can not find it.. So please add it if its not so people at least have choice.
Hot topics can't be disabled. This may be due to the fact that they are part of deviantART's in-house advertising and if you read the Subscription page, it says with an asterisk that No ad browsing does not exclude promotional messages from deviantART.
In the meantime, you can select all and delete them whenever you want or just leave them be as they disappear later on. I suppose an option on what type hot topics are shown could be possible but sometimes they are too important to miss. Or they could have a look at what contents they are releasing as hot topics.
There is no feature right now to disable receiving notes from other deviants, no, and it's the first time I see this suggestion personally. But I don't have anything against the suggestion myself
If you mean the notices like hot topics etc, you cannot disable them but you can remove them all at once by clicking 'select all' > 'Remove' to the bottom right of it, if that helps.
