Are we allowed to make rules for our own channels as long as we follow the official rules?

I know this shouldn't be here, but I didn't know where to put this.

Anyway, are deviant users allowed to make rules for their own channels, as long as they follow the official rules? I'm asking because I made some for my channel, but nobody obeys them.

dA isn't going to enforce your personal rules, if that's what you're asking. You can make all the rules you want but you can't force people to follow them.

I don't know what you're talking about when you say you make rules for your own "channels". But to the point, yes, you can make whatever rules you want for your stock resources or your groups or your chatrooms (if that's what you mean by "channels"), just as long as they aren't against dA's official policies or against any US laws. If people don't follow your rules, then it's up to you to figure out on your own how to enforce them better (like kicking out people who don't follow them) or make better rules that people agree to.
