Maybe, you should take an artist that has recently started deviantart or has few watchers and give them a chance to get noticed.

Sounds like a good idea. :thumbsup:

But why not do this yourself? There are already several groups out there focused on featuring unknown artists - but if you have a better formula, you could certainly establish your own. If you do a good job selecting artists, you could build up a large following.

It would be interesting, I guess, but there are many ways that are available that could bring more attention to unknown artists. :)

There's already a place of +today's page where you can see new deviants (without art being a priority). :shrug:

Why should this be for new deviants? They are new hence, it would make sense they only have a few watchers since they barely get involved to the community, yet.

That's partially what Daily Deviations are for. Sure, they feature a single piece of work by an artist, but ideally that single piece of work should attract people to browse the rest of the deviant's gallery.
