Watching something, not only someone or a group

From time to time, we may encounter a subject in someone's journal or even a specific deviation that we would like to follow.
The same concept exists in FB: once you've put your comment somewhere, you have a kind of subscription that is automatic.
The concept, here, would be the almost the same, but manual: a "Watch" button.

I don't want to bring back all the bloated f@#?~ckware of FB stuff here, but it contains a few good ideas, nothing more :D
