Allow GIF files under any category

Please allow a .GIF file to be submitted under any category.
As it stands I like to submit things as a picture with a transparent backing, but in order to do that I need to make it a .GIF file. I hate having to go easter egg hunting when trying to find a category that I can submit it to, and when I do finally find one it doesn't fit the category of the picture I submitted.
Example, a watercolor fantasy picture being forced to be placed in the Digital media category.

There is a reason for the file restrictions on certain categories, however if you feel some changes should be made, I think you can contact $Moonbeam13 for that.

However and just as a side note, unfortunately for you the problem you have of not being able to save as PNG is an issue only you have, changes to these restrictions won't happen only because one user have this problem.

I've already said that the issue was resolved, unfortunately we cannot delete forum posts nor lock them ourselves. I have already requested this one be locked since the issue need not be pressed anymore, I am just waiting on it to be done. Until then I guess I will have to deal with people trolling and being rude until then

just going to say it once so haters keep to yourself please...
I cant save as png for some reason png files don't load or save properly, so there is no way i would have known that png is a way to save them with a transparent backing.
No need to press the issue anymore so plz dont comment
